Managing Director & Electrician

Paul is the driving force behind Solar Power Direct. A master electrician, Paul began his career in the electrical trade back in 1998. He went on to establish our sister company, P-MEC Electrical in 2004, which serves as our in-house installation team and also specialises in general electrical services and is licensed for air conditioning work. These days, Paul spends most of his time managing operations from the office, but every now and then, he loves to break free and get back on the tools—keeping his hands-on expertise sharp and his connection to the trade alive.

Office Manager

Rose is the backbone of Solar Power Direct and PMEC Electrical. As a qualified CPA accountant, she brings exceptional expertise and attention to detail to every aspect of our operations. Since the very beginning, Rose has been an integral part of both companies, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her versatility and commitment make her an invaluable member of our team.

Henry

Operations Director & Electrician

Henry is the Electrical Operations Manager at Solar Power Direct and the Managing Director of our sister company, PMEC Electrical. His journey began with PMEC Electrical as an apprentice alongside Paul Maiolo, progressing to tradesman and eventually taking the lead of the PMEC team. Today, Henry oversees all Solar Power Direct installations, ensuring every project meets the highest standards. He has built an impressive team of highly skilled and passionate electricians and apprentices, driving excellence across every job.

Robbie

Sales & Marketing Manager

Robbie heads our sales and marketing teams, bringing over 20 years of experience in a unique blend of sales, photography and customer service. His passion for renewables and focus on customer experience ensures clients clearly understand the benefits and expectations, and he always takes the time to keep them fully informed. A renewable energy enthusiast, Robbie enjoys gaining hands-on experience with our in-house electrical team and is especially passionate about battery systems and energy trading. His door is always open for an honest (and often long) chat.

Adrian joined Solar Power Direct in 2019, bringing a wealth of experience from a diverse career. He began as an electrician with ETSA, progressed into service engineering roles, and later moved into business development before finding the perfect place to combine his skills here at Solar Power Direct. Adrian’s expert knowledge and customer-first approach have earned him an outstanding reputation.

Steve joined Solar Power Direct in 2019, bringing valuable experience in solar and a strong background in the building industry. His expertise has enabled him to excel in both residential and commercial installations, delivering high-quality solutions across a range of impressive projects.

Martina joined Solar Power Direct in 2017 and brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative vision. David

Renewable Energy Consultant

David is an electronic engineer by trade who transitioned into commercial electrical, and now specialises in designing solar and battery systems for our builder partners and residential clients. Known for his strong attention to detail and considered, methodical approach, David consistently delivers well thought out solutions and has earned excellent client feedback.

Lachlan

Renewable Energy Consultant

Lachlan brings a strong foundation in finance and real-world commercial experience into the solar industry. Currently undertaking an advanced Economics degree at the University of Adelaide, he applies a practical, numbers-driven approach to solar and battery design, helping homeowners make confident and financially sound energy decisions.

Thomas

Technical Support

Thomas is our in-house technical support specialist, combining a Diploma in Software Development with a Certificate IV in Systems Administration (IT). His strong background in computer systems, data processing and analytics has made him highly effective in his role from day one. With exceptional communication skills, an analytical mind and a calm demeanour, Thomas is the ideal first point of contact for any technical support enquiries at Solar Power Direct.

Jenna

New Home Build Coordinator

Jenna joined Solar Power Direct in 2022 and oversees admin and logistics for new home build installations. Her attention to detail and client-focused approach ensures our builder partners and mutual clients are happy and projects stay on track. Jenna is an exceptional communicator and a valued member of the Solar Power Direct family. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys creating beautifully detailed pottery—a true reflection of her creativity and precision.

Electrical Team Leader & Electrician

Myles joined the PMEC Electrical and Solar Power Direct installation team in 2017 and has been a highly valued member ever since. With years of hands-on experience, Myles has played a key role in training apprentices and fostering a supportive environment for the team. Known for his calm and steady presence, he helps ensure every project runs smoothly. An animal lover at heart, Myles brings a touch of fun to his work—our administration and sales teams always look forward to his compliance selfies, often featuring the pets he meets onsite during installations.
